COVID-19 Bereaved Families For Justice

Having secured a public inquiry into the pandemic, we are campaigning to ensure its findings deliver truth and accountability, reflect the lived experience of bereaved families and lead to lasting changes in public policy.

We campaign for the Inquiry’s recommendations to be implemented in full and without delay. This includes supporting the creation of a National Oversight Mechanism to independently monitor recommendations from public inquiries and inquests, track government progress and prevent vital reforms from being ignored.

We provide an effective voice for bereaved families and remain a central part of public debate about the pandemic. Through media work, engagement with policymakers, parliamentary campaigning and partnerships with other organisations, we press for truth, accountability and changes that will save lives when the next crisis hits.

We also campaign to ensure that the pandemic, its consequences and our loved ones are properly remembered. We created the National Covid Memorial wall and now campaign for similar memorials across the UK to honour the more than 230,000 people who lost their lives.
